A beautifully graphic pair of Danish modernist earrings by Kai Erling Feiling, combining sculptural sterling silver with dramatic jet-black enamel in a wonderfully streamlined mid-century composition.
Each earring features an elongated, gently curved sterling form enclosing a bold black enamel field. A sharply abstract silver element sweeps upward through the lower portion of the design, creating an almost flame, wing, leaf or atomic-inspired silhouette depending upon the viewing angle.
That ambiguity is part of their appeal.
The contrast between polished silver and glossy black enamel gives the earrings a remarkably contemporary appearance despite their mid-century origins, while the asymmetrical, biomorphic geometry is quintessential Scandinavian Modern design.
Feiling was a Danish master gold- and silversmith whose documented KF maker’s mark was used in Virum from approximately 1955 through 1973. His surviving jewelry is far less commonly encountered than that of many of the larger Danish houses, making signed examples particularly appealing to collectors of Scandinavian studio jewelry. 830-1000

Damages and issues

Refunds
