Modernist and sculptural this stunning pendant is made of 935 sterling and was designed by KE Palmberg for Alton. 3 dimensional and spiral in shape, it features a dangling orb from the tip of inner most part of the curl. Paired with a new Italian chain. The pendant has been professionally polished and looks practically new.
Alton (1946-1987)
Modernist jewellery designer Alton, established in Fallköping, was one of the leading Swedish Jewellery designers and producers from 1946 till 1987. Most famous for works designed by K.E.Palmberg, who was the head designer for the company, and whose signature appears on these pieces. Other important modernist designers include Per Dåvik and Theresia Hvorslev. Most of their jewellery was created in sterling silver but they also made use of other innovative materials. Well known for their very high-quality jewellery.
