Fabulous large modernist sterling silver earrings by designer Joe Clift. Originally clip on style earrings, they have been converted to pierced-post back style. They have recently been professionally polished and look phenomenal. Please excuse the lines or reflections, as they are extremely shiny and hard to photograph.

Joe Clift studied metalsmithing and jewelry at The Memphis College of Art and received an MFA in Metals from Southern Illinois University. He has worked as an independent artist-metalsmith; designed and produced jewelry in a commercial setting; and has taught metalsmithing, jewelry making, lapidary and bronze casting. His current interests include combining steel with precious metals, fabricated container forms, and enameling.
