A spectacular example of 1970s Finnish modernist jewelry by Urpo Kajander for Kaunis Koru, this dramatic sculptural ring dates precisely to 1976 and is a true piece of wearable art.
The oversized three-dimensional face is formed from two broad, sweeping planes that twist outward from the center like an abstract bow, folded ribbon, or opening flower. One half is accented in warm 14K yellow gold, while the opposing side remains bright sterling silver, creating a striking two-tone contrast that emphasizes the ring’s fluid architectural form.
Despite its substantial scale, the design is beautifully balanced. The polished surfaces curve and flare away from the finger, catching light from every direction and giving the ring an almost kinetic quality as the hand moves.
This is quintessential Scandinavian modernism: bold geometry, minimal ornamentation, and a strong emphasis on sculptural form.

UJK – Finnish Crown – 925 – Y7 – KK
The UJK maker/designer mark identifies Urpo Kajander, while Y7 dates the piece specifically to 1976. The KK mark identifies Kaunis Koru.
The ring is in excellent vintage condition, with no significant nicks, dents, or damage. Its exceptionally reflective mirror finish makes it difficult to photograph accurately, so some apparent lines or dark areas visible in the photographs are simply reflections rather than flaws.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
