A beautifully sculptural signed Betty Cooke sterling silver modernist bangle, formed from two flowing tubular curves that intersect to create a wonderfully restrained three-dimensional composition.
Cooke’s genius was often found in designs that appear extraordinarily simple at first glance, yet become increasingly sophisticated the longer they are viewed. This bracelet is a wonderful example. Rather than relying on decoration or gemstones, Cooke allows line, proportion, movement and negative space to define the entire piece.
Two substantial lengths of solid sterling silver sweep around the wrist in opposing curves, crossing one another to create an elegant wave-like silhouette. Viewed from above, the bracelet becomes almost an abstract drawing rendered in silver; from the side, its gently rising and falling contours reveal the dimensional construction.
The smooth tubular form has a softly polished finish that catches and reflects light beautifully while retaining the clean, understated character associated with Cooke’s celebrated modernist jewelry.
At 34.2 grams, this is a notably substantial example, giving the bracelet wonderful presence on the wrist without sacrificing the effortless simplicity of its design.
The interior is clearly signed COOKE • STERLING, confirming the designer and material.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with only minimal surface wear and light patina consistent with age and careful use. No damage noted. The highly reflective silver can create dark lines and reflections in photographs that are not present on the bracelet itself.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
