Striking vintage Austin Productions sculpture titled “Surrender,” designed by Danel and dated 1995, featuring a beautifully stylized composition of abstract human profiles rising together in an expressive vertical form.

The sculpture is composed of several elongated, surrealist-inspired faces that appear to emerge, lean toward, and interact with one another. Flowing curves, open negative spaces, and exaggerated profiles give the piece a wonderful sense of movement and emotion, while the upward-reaching composition creates a strong architectural presence.

The design feels both intimate and contemplative, suggesting themes of connection, vulnerability, trust, and emotional release — beautifully suited to its evocative title, “Surrender.”

This example has been fully restored and refinished in a sophisticated hammered metallic silver-pewter finish, which emphasizes the sculpture’s contours and catches the light beautifully. The base has been refinished in semi-gloss black for a clean, gallery-style contrast. Both the sculpture and base were sealed with a protective clear lacquer top coat, and new black felt was added to the underside.

This sculpture is part of my ongoing restoration collection, created to preserve vintage decorative art and return deserving pieces to beautiful display condition. I have restored over 50 sculptures.

A copy of the original sculpture card is included with purchase.

Condition: Fully restored and in excellent display condition with no chips, cracks, or structural damage. The metallic finish and base have been professionally renewed as described above.

Any photographs showing furniture or additional décor are included only to demonstrate styling and scale. Only the sculpture is included with the purchase.

Returns policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags (if applicable) and in its original packaging.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
