Striking vintage Austin Productions sculpture titled “Woman’s Face,” designed by David Fisher and dated 1980, featuring a serene female visage framed within a bold elongated modernist form.
The sculpture has a strong architectural quality, with the stylized face emerging from a sweeping oval composition defined by deeply carved vertical lines and a dramatic open center. Symmetrical curled elements at the base create visual balance and give the piece an almost classical or Art Deco-inspired rhythm, while the simplified facial features keep the overall design distinctly modern.
Its tall silhouette and substantial scale give it impressive presence from across a room, while the open negative space prevents the piece from feeling visually heavy. At nearly 18 pounds, it has the weight and solidity of a substantial decorative art object rather than a lightweight accent piece.
The sculpture is cast in Durastone, Austin Productions’ dense hand-cast composite material made from crushed stone suspended in a slurry and finished by hand.
This example has been fully restored and refinished in a soft off-white / cream pearlized finish, chosen to emphasize the facial features, sculpted contours, and linear detailing. The base has been refinished in black acrylic for a crisp gallery-style contrast, and both the sculpture and base have been sealed with a glossy protective lacquer top coat. New felt has been added to the underside.
This sculpture is part of my ongoing restoration collection, created to preserve vintage decorative art and return deserving pieces to beautiful display condition. I have restored over 50 sculptures.
A copy of the original sculpture card is included with purchase.
Condition: Fully restored and in excellent display condition with no chips, cracks, or structural damage.
Any photographs showing furniture or additional décor are included only to demonstrate styling and scale. Only the sculpture is included with the purchase.
Returns policy
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags (if applicable) and in its original packaging.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
