A fantastic vintage Willy Winnaess for David-Andersen sterling silver and guilloché enamel statement necklace from Norway, dating to the early 1950s.
This beautifully constructed necklace features an elegant, highly detailed linked design composed of repeating floral-inspired openwork panels, with black enameled "petals" and each centered with luminous off-white guilloché enamel. The delicate enamel contrasts beautifully against the warm gilded silver and gives the piece a refined, almost lace-like appearance, while the substantial width and weight give it impressive presence when worn.
The design is both graceful and bold—timelessly feminine, yet unmistakably Scandinavian in its clean repetition, stylized form, and sophisticated craftsmanship. At over an inch wide and with a striking graduated collar-like shape, it sits beautifully at the neckline and makes a true statement.
The necklace remains in excellent vintage condition. The guilloché enamel is fully intact, crisp, glossy, and bright, with no damage or repairs. There is only very minor fading to the gilding in a few small areas, consistent with age and gentle wear. Overall, it presents beautifully and it is remarkable to think this piece is now more than 70 years old.
An exceptional and highly wearable example of mid-century Norwegian design by one of David-Andersen’s notable designers, and a wonderful addition to any collection of Scandinavian silver, enamel jewelry, or statement necklaces.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags (if applicable) and in its original packaging.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
