Fantastic and colorful pastel colored Raku vase from Tony Evans. Vase features a unique square shaped opening and is in mint condition with no crazing, no cracks, no chips, no repairs. There are what appear to be ink pen marks on the inside. New felt feet have been added.
Tony Evans (born 1942)
Is an American studio glass and ceramic artist best known for his innovative, hand-blown art glass and ceramics with distinctive metallic finishes. He was a key figure in the American studio glass movement and is most closely associated with his work at Lundberg Studios in California. Evans began working at Lundberg Studios in the 1960s, where he refined techniques involving iridescent surfaces, vaporized metals, and layered glass forms. In 1970, he became the studio’s design director, a role in which he helped shape the artistic direction and production of some of the most recognizable American art glass of the period. His work is characterized by organic forms, rich color palettes, and signature surface treatments such as pulled feather patterns, iridescent sheens, and metallic inclusions. Many of his pieces are signed and dated, making them highly collectible among art glass enthusiasts. In 1979, Evans left Lundberg Studios to establish his own workshop, where he continued to produce limited-edition art glass and ceramic pieces. His work remains influential within the studio glass and ceramic arts movement and is valued for its craftsmanship, innovation, and artistic individuality.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
