A fabulous and highly collectible matched sterling silver set by Anna-Greta Eker for Norway PLUS Designs, dating to the 1960s.
This sculptural modernist demi-parure consists of a matching open bangle bracelet and cocktail ring, each featuring Eker’s distinctive multi-prong “Ball” design — also commonly called the “Jester” ring by collectors. Period and specialist references identify these ball-ended designs as some of Eker’s best-known work for PLUS.
Both pieces are constructed from broad bands of sterling silver that divide into sweeping open arms, each terminating in a polished silver sphere. The effect is beautifully architectural yet playful, with the balls appearing to float around the hand and wrist.
The bangle is especially dramatic, with its three long asymmetrical arms crossing the open front and ending in substantial polished spheres. The matching ring echoes the same design on a smaller scale, creating a wonderfully cohesive set when worn together.
This is quintessential 1960s Scandinavian modernism — clean geometry, substantial silver construction, open negative space, and sculptural movement replacing traditional gemstones and ornamentation.
Anna-Greta Eker was one of the important designers associated with the innovative PLUS workshop in Fredrikstad, Norway, alongside designers including Tone Vigeland and Erling Christoffersen. PLUS operated from 1958 into the late 1970s and became internationally recognized for progressive Norwegian craft and modern design.
Both pieces carry the appropriate maker and designer marks:
ND – AGE – PLUS – 925S – NORWAY
The AGE mark identifies Anna-Greta Eker.
Both the ring and bracelet feature open constructions that allow for some adjustment in fit. As with any substantial vintage sterling piece, significant resizing should be done carefully rather than repeatedly bending the silver.
The set is in excellent vintage condition with little apparent wear and only light natural patina, retaining a beautiful polished finish.
At a combined 51.7 grams, this is a remarkably substantial and visually impressive matched set — and considerably harder to find than the ring alone.

Damages and issues

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
