Rare and spectacular! Massive in size with stunning detail. The gorgeous variety of the pastel guilloche enamel colors are clean, bright with absolutely no damage or repairs! Clean matte tone gilding to the backside. Based on the maker's mark, this piece dates between 1931-1954. Included with purchase is a gilt silver plate converter so it can be worn as a pendant on a chain if preferred.
Olaf Fritjof Hjortdahl was a renowned goldsmith from Oslo Norway. While training and after completing his Journeyman's examination he worked under C. Berg, Aksel Holmsen and O. Olberg. He spent several years in Berlin, Germany studying and mastering gold work. In 1914, he returned to Oslo and opened his own company with Bernhard Meldahl until 1931 when Meldahl left the company to start his own business. This dropping Meldahl's name from the company, Hjortdahl ran the company solo from 1931 till his death in 1954. In addition to being the Chairman of the Gold and Silver Commodity Wholesalers and Manufacturing Association of Norway for several years, Olav was also a Board Member and Secretary of the Silver Enamel Manufacturers' Group of Norway his last 7 years of life. He was an incredibly talented designer and fiercely respected by member of the community. His pieces are highly desirable and sought after collector's pieces.
Returns policy
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags (if applicable) and in its original packaging.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
