A striking vintage sterling silver bangle bracelet by renowned Norwegian silversmith David-Andersen, from the firm’s celebrated Viking Saga series, dating to circa the 1960s.
The bracelet features a sculptural bi-pass form with three gently overlapping bands, each decorated with repeating darkened geometric impressions that create a bold contrast against the polished sterling silver surface. The open-ended construction gives the bracelet a strong architectural presence while remaining surprisingly wearable.
David-Andersen’s Viking Saga jewelry was inspired by historic Scandinavian ornaments and archaeological finds dating from the early centuries through the Viking period. Pieces from the series were created as modern interpretations and reproductions of ancient Nordic jewelry forms, bringing archaeological design into a distinctly mid-century Scandinavian context.
This example is substantial at 38 grams and retains a beautifully balanced combination of polished sterling and oxidized detailing. It is in excellent vintage condition with no noted damage and only light wear consistent with age.
The bracelet has slight flexibility and can accommodate a modest amount of adjustment, though repeated bending should be avoided to preserve the integrity of the sterling.
Fully marked with the David-Andersen hallmarks, including the D-A and scales marks, 925S, Norway, and Sterling.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
