Exceptional vintage sterling silver bracelet by Danish silversmith S. Christian Fogh, dating to approximately the 1950s.
This beautifully constructed articulated bracelet features a series of sculptural openwork panels decorated with wonderfully dimensional leaves, curling vine forms and polished berry-like spheres. Each panel has been individually shaped to create depth and movement, giving the bracelet a rich three-dimensional quality while still retaining the clean refinement associated with Danish mid-century jewelry.
The combination of naturalistic botanical forms and restrained Scandinavian design is particularly characteristic of Fogh’s work. Rather than appearing overly ornate, the leaves and berries are incorporated into a carefully balanced open framework, allowing light and skin to show through the design when worn.
The bracelet is composed of hinged sterling silver panels that conform comfortably around the wrist and closes with a discreet hidden box clasp. An original-style safety chain provides additional security.

Fogh operated his Copenhagen workshop from approximately 1947 through 1973 and became known for finely made silver jewelry as well as flatware. Surviving jewelry frequently incorporates naturalistic motifs including leaves, vines, flowers and berries, interpreted through the clean sculptural language of Danish modernism.
The bracelet has been professionally polished and presents beautifully, with its high-relief botanical details and polished berry elements particularly striking in person.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with very little apparent wear. Professionally polished. Clasp and safety chain are intact and functional. Please review all photographs closely as they form an important part of the condition description.
A wonderful collector’s example of mid-century Danish sterling silver, and an especially attractive design for collectors of Scandinavian modernist, botanical and studio jewelry.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
