Wonderful vintage three-piece atomic modern ceramic smoking set dating to the 1950s, featuring a dramatic oversized ashtray, matching smaller divided ashtray, and an eye-catching nesting table lighter.
This is such a fantastic retro set, with all the hallmarks collectors love — sculptural mid-century lines, creamy ivory ceramic, and bold 24K gold splatter decoration that gives the entire group a glamorous, unmistakably 1950s look.
The largest ashtray is especially striking, measuring a substantial 12 inches long and designed with a built-in recessed area that perfectly cradles the matching round ceramic lighter. The lighter itself features a brass-tone mechanism and nests beautifully into the tray, creating a wonderfully integrated and highly decorative design.
The smaller ashtray echoes the same cream-and-gold finish and features a divided form with raised rests, making it both practical and visually cohesive with the larger piece.
Together, the three pieces create a fantastic atomic / mid-century modern smoking set that would look right at home in a Mad Men-style bar, cigar lounge, den, library, office, cocktail cabinet, or Hollywood Regency interior. Even for non-smokers, the set works beautifully as a display grouping or as sculptural catchalls and conversation pieces.
This estate-found set was purchased in New York and has wonderful vintage presence. The combination of the large ashtray, matching smaller ashtray, and coordinating nesting lighter makes it much more special and collectible than a single standalone ashtray.
Condition: Very good vintage condition overall. The large ashtray has a few small nicks to the underside, mentioned for accuracy, but the set presents beautifully. The visible surfaces show nicely, with no major condition issues detracting from display. Overall, a wonderfully preserved and highly decorative vintage set.
A fabulous and highly displayable piece of 1950s atomic-era tobacciana — glamorous, sculptural, and full of mid-century personality.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
