A rare and beautifully sculptural mid-century sterling silver demi-parure by celebrated Danish silversmith Niels Erik From, dating to approximately the 1940s–1950s and representing the organic botanical design language associated with the earlier period of his career.
The suite consists of a graceful floral brooch with coordinating earrings, all crafted in solid sterling silver and detailed with darkened oxidized recesses that emphasize the dimensional construction and give the pieces exceptional depth.
The brooch is composed as an elegant botanical spray, with softly curved stems supporting stylized blossoms formed from deeply modeled, fan-shaped petals. Polished silver beads punctuate the flower centers, creating a striking contrast against the darker oxidized interiors and giving the design a lively sense of movement.
The matching earrings repeat the same floral vocabulary in compact circular compositions, each constructed from five sculptural petals arranged around polished silver bead accents. Together, the three pieces create a cohesive and sophisticated Danish Modern ensemble while remaining beautifully wearable individually.
Marked STERLING DENMARK N.E. FROM 925S, the set has a combined weight of 14 grams.
The earrings have been professionally converted to pierced-post construction and fitted with new sterling silver backs for contemporary wear. All three pieces have recently been professionally polished and present beautifully, while the intentional oxidized details have been retained to preserve the depth and character of the original design.
A converter is included so the brooch may also be worn as a pendant.
Niels Erik From (1908–1982) was one of Denmark’s notable 20th-century silversmiths. He began working independently in the early 1930s, with his workshop later registered in Nakskov. His earlier jewelry is particularly admired for its floral, leaf and naturalistic forms, while later production moved toward the more geometric modernist aesthetic associated with postwar Scandinavian design. His jewelry remains highly collectible for its elegant craftsmanship, clean proportions and unmistakably Danish approach to wearable form.

Damages and issues

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.
