John Lauritzen Denmark Sterling Silver Large 3-D Articulating Bunch of Grapes Brooch Circa 1950s
A beautifully crafted mid-century Danish silver brooch by John Lauritzen, dating to the 1950s. Sculptural, dimensional, and wonderfully kinetic, the design features a graceful three-dimensional bow suspending a freely moving cluster of polished silver grapes.
Each rounded grape is individually formed to create a rich, dimensional bunch, while the articulated construction allows the cluster to move naturally beneath the bow. That subtle movement gives the brooch a sense of life and elegance that is especially appealing when worn. The combination of polished surfaces, rounded forms, and architectural ribbon detail is a wonderful example of the refined craftsmanship associated with Danish silver jewelry of the period.
Marked John L 830S Denmark, this appears to be one of Lauritzen’s earlier designs, produced in the traditional Scandinavian 830 silver standard.
The brooch has recently been professionally polished and presents beautifully, with a bright reflective finish. Any dark lines or unusual marks visible in the photographs are simply reflections from the highly polished silver surface.
For added versatility, an adapter is included so the brooch may also be worn as a pendant.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
