Rare Andresen & Scheinpflug Norway Gilt Sterling Silver + Guilloche Enamel Art Deco Flowers Brooch Circa 1930s

A charming and unusually elegant Norwegian brooch by Andresen & Scheinpflug, beautifully crafted in gilt sterling silver with vivid guilloché enamel decoration.
The design features a graceful openwork arrangement of curling tendrils and stylized floral motifs, centered by a larger sky-blue flower and accented by two smaller deep cobalt-blue blossoms. The scrolling gilt framework gives the brooch a distinctly Art Deco character, while the bright enamel colors add a fresh, cheerful Scandinavian feel.
The guilloché enamel remains clean, glossy, and beautifully luminous, with no noted chips, cracks, or losses. The gilding is equally bright and well preserved, with little to no visible wear. It is remarkable how beautifully this piece has survived and how crisp and vibrant it still appears today.
At 2.4 inches wide, the brooch has lovely presence while remaining refined and easy to wear. It looks especially striking on a jacket lapel, sweater, scarf, or dress.
Bonus: Two pendant converters are included with purchase, allowing the brooch to also be worn as a pendant if desired.
A wonderfully collectible and hard-to-find example of vintage Norwegian enamel jewelry, especially appealing to collectors of Scandinavian design, floral motifs, and Art Deco–era silver.
Andresen & Scheinpflug Was founded by Jens Ingvald Andresen in 1936 along with Albert Scheinpflug. Andresen was born on February 17th, 1901. He trained at the Goldsmith firm of Hjortdahl & Meldahl from 1915 through 1919 and stayed with the firm until 1936. Having completed all his requirements, he registered with the Norwegian Goldsmiths Association in 1936. Andresen and Scheinpflug opened their silver enamel workshop on August 1st, 1936. Unfortunately they were only in operation for 4 years when in 1940 Norway was pulled into World War II and all supplies of silver from Germany ceased. Andresen died in 1974. Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
