A rare and striking mid-century sterling silver demi-parure by Børresen & Lassen of Denmark, dating to approximately the 1950s. Comprising an oversized sculptural brooch with matching earrings, the suite beautifully captures the sleek, aerodynamic design language of postwar Scandinavian modernism and the Atomic Age.

The brooch is composed of three elongated, sharply tapered forms arranged in a dynamic three-dimensional composition. Each element sweeps outward with a dramatic sense of motion, creating a silhouette that feels simultaneously botanical, architectural, and almost futuristic. The open negative spaces and sharply pointed terminals give the design an especially bold, graphic presence.

All three pieces have recently been professionally polished and present beautifully with bright, reflective sterling surfaces. Please note that the earrings were professionally converted from their original clip-back construction to pierced posts by a jeweler using sterling silver posts and backs; some earlier photographs may still show the original clip findings.

The brooch pin mechanism is fully functional. A converter is also included so the brooch may be worn as a pendant if desired.
