A fabulous and highly sculptural Finnish modernist pendant by renowned designer Elis Kauppi for Kupittaan Kulta, dating to 1966.
This striking three-dimensional sterling silver design has a distinctly Space Age architectural quality, featuring an open square framework crossed by three horizontal bars. Rising dramatically from the structure are six bezel-set amethyst cabochons with unusual rounded, bullet-like forms, creating wonderful depth and dimension from every angle.
The vivid purple amethysts provide a beautiful contrast against the cool sterling silver, while the open geometric construction gives the pendant an almost miniature architectural or kinetic-sculpture appearance. At approximately 2 inches long and a substantial half-inch deep, it has excellent presence without feeling overly heavy.
The pendant carries an extensive group of Finnish hallmarks, including the anvil maker’s mark, crown, 916H silver mark, Turku city mark, and N7 date code, documenting the piece to 1966. It is paired with a complementary 20-inch Italian 925 sterling silver chain.
Both the pendant and all six amethysts remain in excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks, repairs, or other damage and little to no visible wear.
A superb example of Finnish Scandinavian modernist jewelry and a particularly eye-catching piece for collectors of Elis Kauppi, Kupittaan Kulta, Space Age design, and mid-century studio jewelry.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
