An exceptional and highly collectible Norwegian modernist jewelry ensemble combining the work of two of the most important designers associated with the legendary PLUS workshop in Fredrikstad, Norway: Tone Vigeland and Erling Christoffersen.
The dramatic sterling silver pendant, designed by Tone Vigeland, features an open sculptural oval form surrounding a substantial polished lapis lazuli stone. The deeply colored stone is suspended within the silver framework, creating an architectural floating effect that beautifully contrasts the organic character of the lapis with the cool, hand-worked sterling silver.
The pendant hangs from a substantial rigid sterling silver neck ring by Erling Christoffersen. Its restrained hammered surface and elegant simplicity provide the perfect framework for Vigeland's sculptural pendant while allowing the lapis to remain the focal point.
Completing the ensemble is a coordinating Tone Vigeland sterling silver bangle, bearing the same TV and PLUS markings as the pendant. Its smooth, minimalist circular form complements the necklace without competing with its dramatic scale.
The combination of pieces by Vigeland and Christoffersen is especially compelling historically, as both were leading designers at PLUS during the workshop's influential mid-century period. Christoffersen headed the PLUS silver workshop from its beginnings in 1958, while Vigeland was among its principal jewelry designers during the 1960s. Their work helped establish the distinctly Scandinavian modernist vocabulary for which PLUS jewelry remains celebrated today.
All pieces have been professionally polished and inspected and present beautifully in excellent vintage condition.
At a substantial combined weight of 82.3 grams, this is an impressive and sophisticated collector's ensemble with tremendous visual presence — equally compelling as wearable modernist sculpture or as an important addition to a collection of postwar Scandinavian studio jewelry.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
