 Beautiful gilded sterling silver butterfly brooch with gorgeous shades of pink, turquoise blue, black and gray guilloche enamel. Designed and crafted by Jens Erik Jensen for Hroar Prydz, sometime in the 1920s or 1930s. It is in excellent condition - enamel fully intact clean, shiny and bright. There is a tiny bit of tarnish to the back, it will be properly cleaned and polished before shipping. Hard to believe this butterfly around 100 years old, it literally looks almost new! Included with purchase is a converter so it can be worn as a pendant if preferred.

Hroar Prydz - Oslo His shop was active from 1891 till his death on Christmas Eve in 1937. After his death, Hans Myhre took over the company till 1965. The Myhre & Prydz lines where bought by David Andersen in the 1965.
