Rare George Nelson for Howard Miller Retro Atomic Wrought Iron & Brass Fireplace Tools Circa 1960s

What a superb and rare mid century modern set designed by George Nelson for the Howard Miller Company. Set features a solid wrought iron base, brass pole and plate stand and brass handled wrought iron tools. All portions of this set are void of breaks, repairs, bends, heavy use etc....The brass handles and stand do have light tarnish but no damage or loss. The tool holder and rods have the tell tale Nelson slots and the round base also contains the signature Nelson exposed square "tab" feet. 

The wrought iron portions of the tools and the plastic top and end caps have recently been professionally recoated with a heavy fire resistant enamel for safety. 

Overall the set is in excellent condition!
