Wow! What truly spectacular demi parure set by the renowned Sigi Tasco. This 4 piece set made of sterling silver that details clean, modernist lines and enamel accents.  The enamel is clean and damage free on all 4 pieces. Both the necklace and the bracelet feature a center hinge and hidden box closures which work perfectly, and the bracelet also has a safety latch. The earrings are a combination of clip and screw back style and are fully functional. The real showcase of each piece though is the 3-dimensional Orbs that feature Tiger's Eye on one side and Labradorite on the flip side. The are set in a sterling frame that rotates on a pin setting. All the orbs and pin settings are in perfect working order. I gave the set a light cleaning but it still has some patina. Positively breathtaking and a rare to find a complete matching numbers set of this magnitude! Will be delivered in a full size display gift box.

**Special Note** Please carefully review the measurements, which I have painstakingly detailed. Might be considered as slightly smaller than an average set because of it's age.**

Sigfrido Pineda (1929-?). The long career of award winning Sigfrido Pineda began as a pre-teenager when be spent three years working at Los Castillo . He is cousin to Los Castillo -founder Antonio Castillo. Pineda then worked with Salvador Terán in 1945 in the city of Puebla, and then with Felipe Martínez at Piedra y Plata . He eventually became head of the enameling workshop at Margot de Taxco in 1949 before opening his own shop, Plateros, in 1952. In 1979 the shop was later renamed Sigi. Sigi items stamped with eagle 16 likely were marked at Margot’s to whom eagle 16 was assigned. Pineda’s work reflects great design flow and very creative use of dimension. Sigi was listed in the magazine This is Mexico as “fine silver” shop. 80 Some of the work by Sigfrido Pineda is marked with an inventory or a design number. Silver, enamel work. Mark : Sigi (script).
