Large and fantastic Lucite earrings by the iconic Gerda Lynggard. Earrings feature a bold black and white striped pattern, with a modernist shape. They have been professionally polished and are scratch and damage free, looking almost new! They could easily and inexpensively be converted to post back earrings by a jeweler.  

Gerda Lynggaard & her husband Nikolai Monies have been designing costume jewelry with natural elements since the 70's. Their jewelry usually combines elements from nature such as seeds, horn, stone, shell coconut, etc. This piece is in exceptional condition! From their early 80s collection, it features prehistoric cave carvings throughout as well as on the center drop stone. A fantastic estate find that would be the perfect rare addition to any Monies collector!
