Fantastic modernist biomorphic brooch by the iconic Einar Dragsted. Sterling silver adorned with a deep maroon color enamel that is flush set. Overall pin is in exceptional condition with light wear. Will be professionally cleaned and polished before shipping.  Included with purchase are 2 converters so brooch can be worn on a chain if preferred.

Founder Einar Dragsted (1887-1967) Purveyor to the Royal Danish Court. Copenhagen, Denmark. Company started as a spin off from Arendt Dragsted in 1937 and was active till 1991. Known predominantly for his fine sterling and enamel tableware. His jewelry was only produced from 1948 - 1958 and is a rare find and highly sought after.
