Fantastic articulating pendant attributed to Kultateollisuus Ky Lumi of Turku Finland circa 1960's. In my research I found 2 comparable necklaces confirming maker. Paired with an extra long 925 sterling chain with no clasp (Fits over head) Both are in excellent condition with no damage or condition issues. Pendant has recently been polished and looks amazing!

Jorma Laine (1930 - 2002) was a Finnish modernist jewellery designer, producing his signature modernist pieces in the 1960s and 70s. He worked for Kultateollisuus Ky, in Turku, Finland which was founded in 1899 and is one of the oldest silver makers in Finland. Between 1954-1977 it was known as Kultateollisuus Viljanen ja Kumpp Ky. During these innovative years, Kultateollisuus Ky employed some of the best contemporary designers and their Modernist pieces are stamped with the symbol of the flying hammer.
