Brooch is in good condition with only minor wear to gilding on backside comparable to age. The gorgeous guilloche enamel is clean and bright and in the loveliest shade of sage green with no damage of any kind. Included with purchase is a gilt sterling silver plated converter so it can be worn as a pendant if preferred.
The Ivar T Holth silversmithy was first registered in Oslo, Norway in 1943. They produced an extensive amount of jewellery often using guilloche enamel . Much of the jewellery was exported overseas. The company was managed by Per Holth, Ivar's son after his death, from the late seventies until 2007.
