Zanolli Ceramiche - A century of history. The factory was founded by the three friends Sebastiano Zanolli, Teodoro Sebellin and Alessandro Zarpellon, in Nove (Vicenza) in 1921 . The original production of the artistic ceramics factory consisted of ancient-style objects, richly elaborated and finished, designed and made above all by Zarpellon, and modern-style objects, generally modeled by Sebellin. A large part of the production was destined for export to England, northern Europe, the United States and Canada. Towards the end of the 1960s, the production of artistic tiles also began, thanks above all to the contribution of prof. Pompeo Pianezzola who, returning from personal experiences in this sector, provided the company with his talent to develop this new stimulating business. Since the 1980s, the company has also developed the sector of ceramics for heating, for coating stoves, using very specific technical mixtures, suitable for withstanding significant thermal changes. Even today, aesthetic research is supported by artists of proven talent: prof. Antonio Angelo Lucietti (former pupil of Pianezzola) and Stefano Bertoncello Collanega. The decorations are always made exclusively by hand, like many other stages in the processing of all products.
