Fantastic hefty sterling silver collar necklace by the iconic American designer Jondell. The collar features a smooth glossy finish and stunning but simple sculptural lines with a raised center feature. The pieces is quite pliable and will easily adjust to the wearer's fir preference. It has recently been professionally polished and looks brand new!

Jondell was an American designer who lived in Spain in the late 1960s and later moved to Mexico, where he continued to produce artisan silver jewelry. In the mid 1980s, he moved back to New York and incorporated his company and trademarked the "Jondell in cursive logo" and "Jondell Enterprises". His pieces are distinguished by their clean, sculptural lines and convex curves. All pieces, whether made in Spain or Mexico that do not have the cursive logo or are not stamped with Jondell Enterprise, pre-date 1984 when the company incorporated. With pieces marked Jondell Spain being the earliest from the designer.
