Classy and timeless stunning and huge heavy cast resin sculpture from Jaru USA.  Sculpture is in mint condition, no cracks, crazing, damage or repairs.

This fantastic huge and heavy solid acrylic resin sculpture has been fully restored and has no chips, cracks or damage of any kind. Sculpture has been painted in metallic coppery bronze color with light touches of pearlized gold acrylic paint and finished with a heavy lacquer top coat. Has a beautiful real metal look and feel to it. New feet added to the base (since the photos were taken). Original Jaru sticker on base.

I have been working on a passion project that involves purchasing sculptures from various sources and with varying degrees of damage. It has been a labor of love with countless hours and loads of hard work. My goal is to restore these pieces back to their original grandeur, sometimes with an updated color palate when appropriate. I hope to not only keep another artist’s masterpiece living on for a few more decades, but to introduce the next generation to sculptures as home décor that may otherwise end up in our landfills.

Sculptures are not just art; they are three-dimensional stories that invoke many feelings and memories. Thank you for looking at my collection of restored treasures and I hope you find one that tells your story.

Jaru Art Products was started in 1950 by Jack and Ruth Hirsh in Culver City, Calif. The name is a combination of the first two letters of their first names (Ja and ru). Jaru sold artwares and figurines by different artists. The company later created its own lines. Most pieces were marked with a simple paper sticker, although some have an impressed mark. Jaru changed hands in 1968 and became an affiliate company of the Harris Marcus Group and stayed in business until the 1990s by diversifying and importing products.
