Alton (1946-1987)
Modernist jewelry designer Alton, established in Fallköping, was one of the leading Swedish Jewelry designers and producers from 1946 till 1987. Most famous for works designed by K.E.Palmberg, who was the head designer for the company, and whose signature appears on these pieces. Other important modernist designers include Per Dåvik and Theresia Hvorslev. Most of their jewelry was created in sterling silver but they also made use of other innovative materials. Well known for their very high-quality jewelry.
