Fantastic sterling work of art by the renowned Erika Hult de Corral. Necklace features 3 bar link strands on either side that suspend a curved solid center piece that has a modernist look with the half smooth, half lined detailing. There is no damage or dents, bar links and O-rings are perfectly intact. Box clasps works perfectly. It has recently been professionally polished and looks amazing.
Erika Hult de Corral, known by her signature "Ric". She studied at the Paris affiliate of the New York's Parsons School of Design. She worked in Taxco both with Sigi Pineda and Enrique Ledesma before moving to Puerto Vallarta and opening her own shop in 1966. Most of her early pieces are stamped with Taxco's Eagle 3, indicating that her designs where executed by Taxco Silversmiths. Her work is very modern, reminiscent of Danish Modern with its clean contoured lines.
