Fantastic modernist sterling and pearl earrings by the iconic Betty Cooke. Earrings feature a round disc shape in a high gloss smooth mirror like finish and are are each adorned with a pearl. They are in excellent condition with little to no wear but will be professionally polished before shipping in a black velvet gift box. So classy and timeless!

 

Betty Cooke is a recognized as being one of the premier artists associated with the mid-century modernist American Studio Jewelry movement. Born in 1924, she trained as a sculptor at the Maryland Institute of Art , receiving her degree in 1946. Her designs have a clean cut, architectural quality, with an emphasis on simplicity.
