A superb Marci Zelmanoff 1970’s repousse brooch in sterling silver with gold and copper accents. Purchased from an estate in New York and I have left it in its original condition, as the patina is fantastic! Brooch is in perfect condition with no damage and pin back works perfectly. Included with purchase is a converter so it can be worn as a pendant if preferred.   

Marci Zelmanoff was an American jewelry artist well ahead of her time. Her feminist, bold, sometimes feverish constructions appealed to women wearers, but were generally ignored by the burgeoning art jewelry institutions and media. Today her work is recognized for its originality and singular vision and is highly coveted.
