A monumental and fantastic piece from Frank and Regina Juhls. Kinetic Tundra pendant in their traditional modernist brutalist fashion and featuring two bar and orb dangles that are slightly bowed, one of which has a bezel set Amethyst stone. Overall the piece is in exceptional condition with no damage of any kind and little to no wear. Paired with the original extra long vintage sterling chain, that was either original a continuous chain or was missing the clasp. I have replaced the missing pieces with a new sterling lobster style clasp and O-ring connector. A superb collector's piece. 

Frank and Regine Juhls of Kautokeino, Norway
In the 1950's, the Frank & Regine Juhls homesteaded a studio in the wilderness of Northern Norway, home to the Sami or Lapp people, much of the work from their early period shows the strong influence of the native Lapland jewelry style. Later in the 1960s, they came into their own unique style and produced some fine modernist pieces, both in hand wrought and cast work techniques.
