Superb craftsmanship in this stunning necklace.  No maker's mark, but I sold an identical piece by Johansen last year. Necklace features a large sterling silver and Tiger's Eye Disc pendant. The stone is in mint condition with no damage, chips or scratches. The pendant has a glossy finish and has been professionally polished (since the photos where taken) and looks almost new! Terrific collector's piece.

A master of modernist design, Arne Johansen was born in 1927, qualified as a silversmith in 1951 and started his workshop in Roskilde in 1954. His whole family became involved in the production and sale until 1993. His work is characterised by the pure simplicity of line, elegant design, the substantial weight of the silver, and the expertise of the craftsmanship.
