Stunning and fun sterling and enamel panel link bracelet fitted with a secure, push button v-spring and box clasp. With a fascinating design the panels have been given a brushed finish and each displays a series of curvilinear and linear patterns cut through the metal. Further embellishing the highly stylized motif are droplets of enamel randomly speckling the silver surface. The enamel dots are raised—adding a wonderful new dimension to the bracelet—and boast a variety of sizes and vibrant colors, including red, yellow, blue, and black. The bracelet is in excellent condition with no enamel loss and little to no wear.
This bracelet is an example of the ground-breaking work that emerged from the modernist movement of wearable art, during the mid-20th-century. Handwrought by a recognized studio artist of that period. BOOK REFERENCE: Another bracelet by this studio jeweler is featured in Modernist Jewelry 1930-1960, The Wearable Art Movement, by Marbeth Schon.
