An absolutely superb Laurel Lamp Company abstract modernist floor lamp commonly but wrongly attributed to Harry Balmer and was actually designed by Richard Barr in the 1960s. Features enameled steel that has been formed in an artist and modernist style. Overall lamp is in exception condition with no paint/enamel loss, no dings, dents or damage of any kind. A fantastic addition to any style of home décor.

"The Laurel Lamp Foundation” “After speaking with Harry Balmer’s family, our nonprofit foundation confirmed with them that there is no documented relationship between Balmer and Laurel. This piece appears in the 1968 Laurel catalogs. The Laurel designers at the time were Richard Barr and Harold Weiss.
