Fantastic sterling abstract brutalist style brooch with blackening along the inside. Brooch is in excellent condition with very minimal wear - comparable to age. Included with purchase is a silver converter so it can be worn on a necklace if preferred.
A message I receive from Fred Pearce on 1-25-2022 directly about this brooch: "Thanks for sharing this PN12. We designed this in 1965 and it is still a favorite. Brutalist perhaps, but we were heavily influenced by Scandinavian design at the time. Our current pin style numbers are in the 500's."
